A few weeks ago we took a weekend trip with some friends to Dumont Sand Dunes in Southern California for a little fourwheeling, some sun, and a lot of sand! We parked our trailer next to a dune hill so the kids could have some soft sand to play in, and they had a blast! Here's some pictures from the trip.
Kamryn in her helmet!
"Rock on!" Lexi kept throwing the rock on sign whenever I would take her picture!

Ashley and Lexi trying to climb the hill. It was actually really steep and soft sand which made it incredibly hard to climb!
Lexi fell while running down the hill and got a nice sand mustache!

Kamryn would just slide down the hill, you can imagine how much sand was in her pants!

Me and Lexi at sunset on the hill

Lexi and Tim going for a ride. She is quite the daredevil, she kept telling us to go faster and go on the big hills! She couldn't get enough!
The Fire Station Tour
We had a playgroup activity at the firestation. The kids got to have a tour of the firehouse and even climbed in the firetrucks. The Firemen were so nice and patient and the kids loved it!

Walking through the living room of the firehouse
Lexi made herself comfortable in the firetruck and didn't want to get out!

One of the fireman demonstrated how fast they put their gear on and let the kids touch them so they know not to be afraid if they are ever there to help them. Well, needless to say Lexi wasn't afraid, she just climbed right on his leg and even gave him a hug!

Your family is always doing such fun stuff. The sand dunes look like an awesome time! I went motorcyling at the dunes with my friend's family growing up and loved it.
