Easter

Aren't Easter dresses fun! Lexi was so excited to wear her's because it "looks like a Princess!" Kamryn didn't care what she was wearing as long as she had jelly beans, unless it was her headband...of course she wouldn't leave that on! Tim didn't make it in the pictures this year, we were lucky to get what we did; but he wore his pink easter tie.

The Egg Hunt, it didn't take her long to figure out what to do

I don't really know what to say for Lexi, other than egg hunting is not her thing! We went to an Easter Egg hunt at the church on Saturday. (Actually it was more like an Easter Egg pick-up because most of them were just laying in the grass.) The field was divided into sections for all of the different age groups so the young kids could get as many eggs as the big kids. So they start with the 0-3 age group which includes Lexi and Kamryn. Tim took Kamryn and I went with Lexi. They blew the whistle and the kids started running and putting eggs in their basket as fast as they could.....except Lexi. She just walked past all of the eggs and seemed to not even notice them; I kept yelling at her to pick up the eggs, but she didn't care!! By the time all the kids had scooped them all up she managed to get 4 in her basket, the same as Kamryn got!. Once her turn was over, she realized that she didn't get very many and started to cry. Luckily, she has some really nice friends that donated some of their eggs to her so she would stop crying. They even threw some out into the grass for her to find, and she walked right passed them again! I guess there's always next year!
